About AI Sales Stack

Our Mission

AI Sales Stack exists because the AI sales tool market deserves an independent editorial voice. The $9B+ AI sales intelligence market is dominated by vendor-published content: Apollo ranks Apollo first, Gong publishes "Gong vs Chorus" articles where Gong wins, and every "best sales tools" listicle is written by a company selling one of the tools on the list. This creates a trust vacuum for sales leaders trying to make informed purchasing decisions.

We're different. We don't make sales software. We analyze it, review it, and tell you what actually works — including the parts that don't. Our evaluations are based on real G2 and Capterra reviews, verified pricing data, feature-by-feature analysis, and public user reports. When Apollo claims high data accuracy but users report 20-35% email bounce rates, we report both sides.

How We Make Money

We earn money through affiliate commissions. When you sign up for a platform through one of our links (marked with ↗), we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We participate in affiliate programs for Apollo, Clay, Seamless.AI, Lusha, Cognism, Instantly, Smartlead, Reply.io, and others.

Critically: affiliate commissions never influence our rankings. Platforms without accessible affiliate programs (Chorus/ZoomInfo, 6sense) receive the same thorough editorial treatment. Seamless.AI offers the highest commission (up to 40%) but ranks below Apollo and Clay in our evaluations because it has a narrower feature set and lower user satisfaction scores. We disclose affiliate relationships on every page and mark affiliate links clearly.

This model lets us fund independent editorial work without charging readers, paywalling content, or running intrusive display ads.

Editorial Team

AI Sales Stack is written and maintained by former SDRs, AEs, and RevOps leads who have built sales stacks at SMBs through enterprise. Our contributors have collectively managed prospecting databases across Apollo, Seamless, Clay, and Cognism, run multi-sequence outbound campaigns on Outreach and Salesloft, and implemented conversation intelligence tools like Gong — the same stack decisions our readers are making.

We use role-based attribution rather than personal bylines. Each review is written by the contributor with the deepest hands-on experience with that platform, cross-checked by at least one other team member, and verified against primary sources (G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, official pricing pages, and vendor changelogs) before publication. Reviews are re-validated every 90 days with current pricing and user satisfaction data. When we run structured tests (data accuracy audits, deliverability checks), we disclose the methodology and raw findings.

Conflict of interest policy: we do not employ active sales practitioners who have affiliate conflicts with the platforms we review. Contributors disclose any prior commercial relationships with vendors, and anyone with an active consulting or partnership arrangement with a platform is recused from that platform's editorial cycle. Editorial Standards

  • Every platform is evaluated using publicly verifiable data sources (G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, official pricing pages)
  • We cite negative data (low Trustpilot scores, high bounce rates, aggressive sales tactics) alongside positive findings
  • No platform can pay to improve its ranking or suppress negative information
  • All reviews are updated every 90 days with current pricing and review scores
  • Factual errors are corrected within 48 hours of being reported
  • We segment recommendations by use case — no tool is "best" for everyone
